SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Jump in and make a commitment to do the business, no matter what.”

If you told me one year ago that I would be a Regional Vice President by next Christmas, I would have said you were dreaming. However, this is exactly what happened to me and I know it is not a dream. Trust me, I have pinched myself enough times to know that I am definitely awake!

My journey started in April of 2004 when I attended an Arbonne Presentation with my dear friend and sponsor, DeVelle Gray. I fell in love with the products and signed up as an Arbonne Consultant just to get the discount. At this time, I was a single mother of two teenage boys. I worked full time as a clinical art therapist in a therapeutic classroom at a local community mental health center. I was also attending night classes an hour away from my home to earn a second masters degree in clinical psychology. I never entertained the idea of doing Arbonne as a business because I believed I was too busy. I had always envisioned myself working in a profession where I could help people overcome personal obstacles and make their lives better. Initially, I did not see that I could touch more lives or help more people by building my Arbonne business than by working in the mental health field. Sometimes we look at an opportunity with the wrong set of eyes. I viewed Arbonne solely with my mind and not my heart. That would eventually change.

During this period, my upline, ERVP Ben Stephenson, kept e-mailing me information regarding the business. At first, I ignored them. Then, I received an announcement about an upcoming event featuring ENVP Cathi Almquist. She had been a single mother when she started Arbonne. Having been a single mother for 14 years and never having enough financial means to give my boys the “extra things” in life, I felt compelled to attend this training. Little did I know it would change my path in life. I walked away from her training determined to pursue my Arbonne business. I convinced my friend, AM Bonnie Plumberg, to make a commitment to do this business with me, no matter what.

Over the next year, I came to realize that the true gift of Arbonne is how it can change so many lives. When you give unselfishly from your heart and help others, you will be richly rewarded in your life. I have heard people say this many times, “The Mercedes-Benz is great, but the true gift of Arbonne is helping to change people’s lives.” Now, I fully understand this statement and agree 100 percent that it is true.

To my boys, Cody and Josh Mundell: You both are my biggest Why. I know it was never easy being the children of a single mother who could barely provide for your basic needs. Now, I will be able to give you the things in life I always dreamed of giving you, but never could afford to. I love you both.

To my parents, Roger and Phyllis Adams: Thank you for never giving up on me. I have learned so much about life from you both. You taught me how to be strong, to love others and to believe I could do anything I wanted to in life. I love you both.

To ERVP Ben and AM Linda Stephenson: Thank you for being such wonderful friends and always willing to help guide me in my business. I love you both.

To ENVP Cathi Almquist: You are my inspiration. Thank you for your wisdom and love.

To ENVP Nisé Davies: Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and upline.

To Kim Hoffman: Thank you for bringing Arbonne into so many lives here in Kansas and being such a wonderful leader.

To ENVP Linda Loveless: You have truly taught me the meaning of leading a team with elegance and grace. Thank you.

To Dr. Weaver: Thank you for reminding me that tenacity will get you through anything even when you do not think you can make it.

To all of my AMs, DMs, Consultants and Clients: I cannot wait to see you all living your greatest dreams and driving your white Mercedes-Benzes. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. I have the best team an RVP could ever hope to have. I am blessed to have all of you in my life and to be able to call you my friends. I love you all.
