“Be consistent in your business and teach others to do the same.”
How many businesses can you own, work 15–20 hours a week and set your own hours, all from the comfort of your own home? Not many. In addition, which of these businesses will let you give others this same gift and help to teach them to be successful while your business continues to flourish? I know of none other than the gift I was given, Arbonne!
My Arbonne journey began in August of 2003. I was on an airplane and sat next to ENVP Donna Johnson, when she shared the gift of Arbonne with me. She must have seen a gleam in my eye because she followed up with me and introduced me to NVP Dianne Partee, who lived very close to me. I knew as soon as I applied the NutriMinC® RE9® on my skin, that Arbonne products were different.
In October of 2003, Dianne did my business launch and I was on my way. I found a few business builders and taught them just as Dianne had taught me. On March 1, 2004 we became an Area. I focused on “six for success,” “eight to be great” and “10 to win;” and taught the others on my team to do the same. I believe the key to success in this business is being consistent and teaching others to do the same.
It has been said many times, and I believe it to be very true, that to help others get what they want, you automatically get what you want. This has been an amazing journey. I have been privileged to strengthen old relationships and build brand-new relationships with amazing women from all walks of life. It is a joy to work alongside women who share the same goals and have the same vision of making a difference in other people’s lives.
First, I would like to thank God, for giving me an opportunity to be at home with my family while helping other families attain their dreams.

I want to thank my family for always being there to support me. Thank you, dad, for teaching me to believe in myself and encouraging me to go for what I want in life. I know mom is watching and smiling down at me. To Joyce: Thank you for being my cheerleader. Thank you, Jacob, for being born. You are my angel. To Dale and Darlene: Thank you for taking care of us while I was busy working my business.
To my boys, Tyler and Justin, you are my Why. I love you more than you will ever know. Arbonne will allow us the time to do the things that we love to do together.
Last, but not least, to my husband, Greg: Thank you for encouraging me from day one to do this business. I could never have done this without your support — emotionally and physically. Thank you for picking up the slack and encouraging me to take the time to build my business strong. Your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed, I love you.
Like Tom Barnett says, get your binoculars out and keep your eyes on your dreams. Take out your magnifying glass each day to figure out what you can do today to attain them. We are dream builders. I encourage each one of you to determine your dreams, and then set your goals to make them a reality.
