SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Make the decision and ‘just do it!’”

Arbonne has made the Asbury Christmas of 2005 one to remember! Our team become a Region, my new Mercedes-Benz came wrapped up in a big, red bow and the spirit of Christmas shined brighter than ever before!

I have been a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. Throughout that time, I was always on the lookout for a way to make some potential, extra money. None of the options I considered ever seemed to be quite right.

One day, my husband casually suggested that I go back to work when the boys all returned to school. I cringed at the thought and got a knot in my stomach. ENVP Sandra Tillinghast once said that she is a horrible employee. Well Sandra, I am right up there with you! I do not mind working hard, but I cannot stand the thought of someone else owning my time. I knew I had to find another way.

Sometime later, I heard that my friend and neighbor, Natalie Gauci, had earned a Mercedes-Benz with Arbonne. I knew nothing about Arbonne, so I called her to find out more. My first thought was that if she can do it, so can I!

When I researched the company, the industry and the products, I knew that I had finally found what I had been searching for. Arbonne definitely has a gift to offer each and every person on this earth: If not through their golden opportunity, then through their quality skin care and wellness products. You might say it became my mission to deliver these life-changing gifts.

We often hear of the importance of timing in this business. The timing was right for me. You see, although I was not ready to work for anyone, I was ready for something more. The blessing of staying home with my children had paved the way for my next challenge. I once heard ENVP Cecilia Stoll share that before Arbonne she often felt there was a giant inside of her that needed to emerge. I can absolutely relate to that. I cannot say if there is a giant inside me, but I can say that I desire more out of life. My Arbonne journey has been about the courage to dream again, the courage to risk it all for a chance at lifelong happiness, and the courage to connect with others. It was the time in my life that I needed to do all three.

You see, growing up I had always seemed to succeed at everything I tried. However, I finally realized one really big truth. Deep down, I knew that I only tried those things that I was certain I could accomplish. That was not the case with Arbonne, which is exactly why I needed to do it. I never again want to live within the limits of fear. I encourage you to ask yourself some tough questions. Find your own truth. If you are not where you want to be in your life, what can you do to change that? Arbonne might just be the vehicle you need.

I believe that God did not give us a spirit of fear; but of power, love and sound judgment. And only when we accept this promise, embrace it and live it, will we be living life to the fullest.

To my husband, Mike: Words cannot adequately express my appreciation for who you are. Your “whatever it takes” attitude kept me going. You have always been my calm in the storm. Thank you for being the best dad to our boys that any mother could ask for. I love you.

To Nick, Dustin and Hayden: Thank you for being my biggest encouragers and for selling the Ginger Citrus Body Wash at school during the last days of qualification. Each of you has brought a depth to my life that I could not have imagined. I love you.

To grandma and grandpa Asbury: Thank you for keeping watch over the boys (and Mike) while I went to training and retreats. I never have to worry when they are in your care.

ENVP Sandra Tillinghast: Thank you for your wonderful example. ENVP Cecilia Stoll: Thank you for being a living example of what it is to give.

NVP Natalie Gauci: I do not even know where to start. You have an elegance and a grace that I truly admire. You have walked with me every step of the way. I will never forget the promise you made to me and how you stood by it. That means more to me than I can say. I look forward to growing old, but not wrinkled, together as families. Gary Gauci: Thank you for the insight and energy that you have brought to our team. Thank you for all the behind-the-scenes work that you are always so willing to do. We all appreciate you.

EAM Lisa Nagle: You are a vision of light. Thank you for showing me what “living your faith” looks like. Your laughter is contagious and provides a welcome escape when things get sticky. It is your turn, girl! AM Suzanne Underwood: I always love to hear your voice. You are wise and fearless and fun! I am so glad that Arbonne brought us together. AM-in-qualification Helen McAllister: I have really enjoyed getting to know you. You are a natural leader and you are well on your way. I am so excited for you.

DMs, Stacy Barrett, Janet Watson, Shonda Peterson, Maureen Sanders, Windi Catchpool, Colby Krause, Yalonda Yost, Tricia Walls, Pam Goodman, Maggie Kennedy, Kay Zschiesche and Mary Futrell: Your love and support throughout this process has blessed me tremendously. I am amazed at your courage and determination. I know that each of you will reach your goals.

To our up-and-coming Managers, Consultants and Clients: We love and appreciate you.

To President Rita Davenport, Chairman and CEO Bob Henry, Sr. VP of Product Development & Field Events, Candace Keefe, Executive Vice President Stian Mørck and Founder Petter Mørck: Thank you for guarding our “gift.” You run this company with love and integrity. We could not do this without you.

If you feel a calling to live your life to the fullest, and more importantly, to play a role in changing the lives of others, I encourage you to open the gift that is Arbonne!
