SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“The waters won’t part until you put your soul into it.”

There I sat, a home-schooling mom of three, listening to an Arbonne Presentation given by ENVP Cathy Epperson. I came to hear about the PhytoProlief Natural Balancing Cream. A year earlier, my husband was suddenly without income after a business partner and he split. Our life went completely haywire, but it was a year of huge spiritual growth. Ed had of course procured a job again, but we were left in debt and without the funds to send my oldest son, Noah, to Christian high school. I remember feeling the tug in my soul when Cathy mentioned the Arbonne opportunity. But I said no because I was fearful it would take me away from my kids and family.

The desire would not go away, and after the discouraging year we had gone through without income, my faith and dreams were about the size of a mustard seed. Still, I went for it, excited and scared at the same time. I was committed to making enough to potentially pay for my son’s tuition, which would be $500 a month.

By the middle of summer, it was my goal to pay for my oldest son’s tuition. We celebrated by going on an Alaskan cruise. September rolled around and the reality of home-schooling my kids took its priority. The old fears came back. My sponsor, ERVP Tammy Knowles, noticed my activity slowing, and urged me to go to meetings and make conference calls again. Arbonne was taking off, and I was actually considering quitting! This is when I needed to walk in faith, and trust enough to keep going for the next 12 months.

I was tired of selling alone; I was ready for a team. Two fireballs came to the Presentation: Prizilla Catino and Jill Fawcett. They broke all previous records and flew to Area. I was an RVP by the end of March, with three other legs growing strong. Wow! I almost quit right before I made it! God’s timing was perfect.

Since then, my faith and trust have been challenged in new ways. As good as the paychecks are with Arbonne, it has been so much more for me. So much pressure is self-inflicted. I have learned that in the mornings I need to rise before everyone else, go to a quiet place and pray. If I feel burdened and overwhelmed, I release it in those early morning moments, when all things are suddenly possible, all my fears and burdens are quenched and I am filled.

Character is both developed and revealed by tests and new challenges. Embrace them! Unless you are faithful in small things, you will not be faithful in large ones. Enjoy the ride!

The Mercedes-Benz is great, and the income is amazing, but the true riches are the relationships. You join hands with a sister, sister-in-law, mother, cousin, long-lost friend or a new one, and you take the journey together with locked arms. It does not matter if that person is your upline, downline or crossline; we all become family.

I would like to thank God, who knows my heart’s desires before I do. To my soul mate, Ed: You are the best thing I have ever been given. With you at my side, I am whole. I love you!

To my partner, Dominique: You are my little cheerleader and my encourager when “dreamstealers” came in — you and I will always be partners. I thank God for you. To Noah: You were my reason for pursuing this. You have grown tremendously this last year and I am so proud of you! Elijah, my little big-hearted comic: You are always ready to hug and cuddle. I love you! And, I also want to thank my mom, whose unstoppable spirit constantly inspires me.

Thanks to Cathy Epperson, whose passion for what she knew to be true was my own catalyst. To my sponsor, ERVP Tammy Knowles: We have walked in faith and are now driving with fulfillment. Your consistency and steadiness anchored me. I am proud to call you my friends. To Kelly O’Hagan: Thank you for starting me on Arbonne. It was such an encouragement. You are my helpmate — you joined me!

To my brother, Joe and sister-in-law, Cindy: You have always been my number one supporters. Thank you for being so supportive. I cannot wait for you to come on board and give up corporate America! To my cousin, Concetta: You have always been there for me throughout life, and this is no different. To my aunt, Ursula: Thanks for using the products. To DM Andrea Bridgeman: Thanks for being the first one to sign up and actually see the Arbonne vision. I have found a new sister in you!

To RVP Prizilla Catino: We are back! I am so thankful to have you in my life again. You and Jill Fawcett are the answer to so many of our prayers.

To Peggy Ewing: You are understated, but never overrated. See you at the top! To Jackie Mourer and Rusty Kerr: I am so glad we became friends through this.

To my awesome Texas team: Everything is big in Texas! To AM Debi Matske: You said I was going to miss you after you moved away, and I did. But look … I have you back with Arbonne! You can stay home with your three kids, and not miss them. To DM Lisa Mills: I fell in love with you instantly; you are so awesome. To Tracie Dionesio: Your small town will be converted by the time you are done with them.

Look out Idaho — the Wagner team has arrived, with Lashay McDaniels on board. Julie, Lashay and Tracie are loose and they are going in. Idaho will soon be the new Oklahoma. See you at the top!

To Meredith and Courtney: What a blessing to be in your lives. Hang on. It is going to be a great journey. To Julie Walden and Leila Ross: This is the solution — reach out and grab it!

To Heidi Tortorici: It is going to be fun “cruising” Arbonne with you — the cloud is moving!

To all the new Consultants: Once the learning curve is over, and the comfort zone is crossed, it is a thrilling experience.
