“Focus on following the system with consistent activity.”
It has been two years since I started my Arbonne business and knowing what I know now, I feel unbelievably fortunate to have had this business shared with me.
If you are reading my Eye on Arbonne story because someone has shared this opportunity with you, I urge you to definitely take the time to look into it. I almost dismissed it completely as something I could never do, or would ever want to do, but as I watched person after person promote to the top levels, I figured I should at least devote a few hours of my time to learn how the business worked and attend a meeting. I would have been the last person to believe that a network marketing business could change my life in such a positive way, and open up possibilities for me and my family to pursue what we are passionate about.
The major hurdle for me to overcome was the belief that I could achieve success with a network marketing company. I was somewhat familiar with network marketing, and to my knowledge, they ended up with a closet full of products and a handful of annoyed friends and family members. The thought of putting myself in that category was what kept me from starting a business after my first few exposures to Arbonne. But, after I realized that I was already doing the first step of the business by shopping with Arbonne at home, it started to make sense.
From the moment I tried the products and began doing research on the differences between Arbonne and what I was using, I knew I wanted to replace the products in my home. I never knew there could be something better than many of the products found in health food and specialty stores. I found that Arbonne’s botanically-based products made with pure, safe, beneficial ingredients were of the highest quality. Do the research and discover for yourself. What you put on your skin and into your body every day of your life does make a difference!
Once I was sold on the products, I knew I needed to get them at the best possible price. To be honest, I was used to getting most of my products at the grocery store and always looked for what was least expensive. With Arbonne, I was determined to figure out how to get free or discounted products and how to shop the specials. I knew I could never go back to what I had been using. And, I was surprised to see how long Arbonne’s products lasted.
I am so grateful that I was introduced to Arbonne since I will be shopping for these products my entire life, and have the potential to earn an income by helping others shop and earn as well. This business is that simple. All we need to do is educate people about using quality products in their homes and show them how they can potentially earn income by helping others to do the same. A network of consumers is created that allows everyone who is building a business to shop smart and have the potential to get paid. It is truly amazing how this works. I do not sell products and would not join a network marketing company where I had to focus on constantly selling and stocking inventory in my home.
I have been building my Arbonne business for two years. I promoted to Regional Vice President 16 months after starting and spent the last 10 months working toward completing qualification for National Vice President. It seemed the timing was not right, even though I was close month after month. But there is a reason for everything, and my story now proves one fundamental principle of an Arbonne business. If you invest in your team, your team will invest in you.
Toward the end of February, I was admitted to the hospital and put on bedrest due to a couple of over anxious twins. I had no computer and limited access to the outside world. My team stepped up, had an incredible month and I promoted to National Vice President. And in March, my team had another record-breaking month and I proceeded to have the potential to get a pay raise as I spent the entire month in a hospital bed.
Two months later, I am still on bedrest as I write my Eye on Arbonne story. Because of my business, my husband was able to quit his job and I have the luxury of knowing that my business will not only be there after my twins are born, but will be stronger than when I entered the hospital. I feel so blessed to be involved with Arbonne at this time in our lives!
I have learned many things on my journey to NVP. I learned to attach myself to the activity, not the outcome. Do the activity and do not worry about the result; it will happen in time. I learned to focus on the goals of others in order to achieve my own.
The most amazing part of this business is the people you meet and the spirit of teamwork that goes into building an Arbonne business. The core of this business is all about helping others achieve goals so they can spend their time and money in a way that is important to them. I will forever be grateful for the incredible team, both upline and downline, who I have been blessed with. They are the only reason I am able to celebrate this promotion to NVP!
To ENVP Casey Simmons: I cannot believe this! That last day of February would not have been possible without you and James. Thank you for always knowing I could do this and for dreaming big for me and my family. I am ready to take our kids on Arbonne vacations together!
To EAM Tammy Collins: Your turn is right around the corner and I cannot wait to celebrate with you!
To ENVP Holly Warnol and ERVP Candace Nystrom: Thank you for your continued leadership and generosity toward your entire downline. Because of both of you, many people have been blessed by this business!
To my sister, RVP Kenna McGrath: One of the highlights of this business was handing you the keys to your Mercedes-Benz and seeing you celebrate making RVP. I cannot wait to give you your gift as an NVP!
To my sister, EAM Lindsey Lillpop, and my mom, EDM Sarah Kovach: I am so excited you both are doing this business and have begun laying the foundation right now for great things to come!
To RVP Erika Jeffries: You have such a great story! You have stuck with the ups and downs and have always come out ready to go. I cannot think of someone who deserves to make RVP and NVP more than you!
To NVP Christa Evernham and ERVP Anna Bowles: I have loved getting to know you both this past year. This truly would not be possible without your quickly growing teams. You are both incredible leaders and I can see how much you care for your teams!
To RVPs, Laura Butt and Johnna Miller: Wow, you both built teams much quicker than I did and have accomplished so much in a short time. You are one step away from the top!
To AMs, Aileen O’Reilly and Amy Hawkinson: I cannot wait to watch both of you become RVPs this year! You are both so teachable and always willing to work hard to help your teams. They are lucky to have you!
To all my AMs: You are halfway to the top. The fun is just about to begin, so stick with it and it will pay off!
To all my DMs: This is a team effort and I am so thankful to each of you. Being a DM means you now have what it takes to get to NVP. All you must do is help others accomplish what you have accomplished!
To all the new business builders: You have made the first step. Understand the priceless opportunity you have in front of you and go for it!
To Chairman & CEO Bob Henry, President Rita Davenport, Executive Vice President Stian Mørck and Sr. VP Product Development & Field Events, Candace Keefe: Thank you for your continuous work in protecting the integrity of this company and striving to improve year after year!
And, once again, to my husband, Brett: Thank you for believing from day one that I could do this, and also for keeping me grounded throughout the past two years. I love and appreciate you more than you know. I pray the blessings of this business will allow us to live purposefully and help bless others in return. To Cade, Colin and Luke: I cannot express how much I love all three of you, and am excited for all the memories we are about to create!
