“Put your belief into action and you can achieve anything your mind can dream.”

Are you living your best life? Are you and your family living the American dream? If you are doing the same thing in five years that you are doing today, where will you be? After you finish my story and understand the beautiful gift that you have been given, imagine you and your family five years from now. If you choose to embrace the gift of Arbonne, what does your future look like? It could have financial freedom, time freedom and freedom to make choices for your family that many Americans do not have the luxury of making because of being tied to a 9-to-5 job. Wow, that is the power of Arbonne, and I cannot wait to share it with you!

My journey began in October of 2006, when Melinda Barton, a sorority sister from college, came to town for a visit. Over lunch, she started telling me about the Arbonne opportunity. I had already tried the baby products on my son and loved them, so I knew the products were great. During our conversation, I began thinking about network marketing, I did not see myself involved in that business, and certainly did not see myself hosting Presentations. I told Melinda that if all I could earn was $1,000 a month, I was not interested. My husband is a successful attorney and partner in a law firm, and I have been a pharmaceutical sales representative since I graduated from college 12 years ago. It was the perfect job; excellent income, company car and expense account. I certainly was not looking for anything else – we were living the American dream and very happy.

Then she showed me the Arbonne income page, I was blown away that the average NVP monthly income was over $22,000 a month! Okay, now I was listening a little more intently. Having the sales experience from 12 years in pharmaceutical sales, I thought I could do this! This opportunity sounded too big to pass up! This could really change our lives and the lives of so many family and friends if they would decide to join me on this journey.

So I jumped in with both feet, I finished DM in October 2006 and AM in December 2006. I was building my team, we had great momentum and we were all moving toward the same goals; how exciting! In January, my husband and I decided that if I was really going to follow this dream, I needed to leave my pharmaceutical job and pursue Arbonne full time. So that is what I did. In April 2007, I went into qualification for RVP and finished in June 2007. Nine short months after starting my Arbonne journey I earned my white Mercedes-Benz. Amazing!

Please do not think that my short journey did not have numerous obstacles to overcome, because there were many and there are still many thrown at me everyday. But that is what this journey is about – personal development: Learning, growing and stretching everyday to become a better person. If you are not willing to look inside yourself and become a better person, for your family and your team, you will not be successful in Arbonne. At times, the changes that need to take place are so painful that you resist them, but when you realize how important it is and make the decision to change, things will start falling into place.

This is a personal development business and we all have a journey to take. What will be your journey? Where do you see yourself in five years, are you going to open the gift of Arbonne, embrace it and share it, or are you going to let this opportunity pass you by? The choice is yours to make, all you have to do is believe in yourself!

First, I want to thank God for bringing this opportunity into my life and giving me the belief, strength, vision, family and team to assist me in achieving my goals.

To my husband, Kendall: Words cannot express my gratitude for your 100% support of me during this amazing journey. I could not have done it without you pitching in around the house and putting Wesley to bed many nights without me. You are an incredible husband and father, I love you so much!

To my precious son, Wesley: I adore the memory of the first time you looked at me and asked, at the age of 2, “Mommy, do you know what A stands for?” I replied, “No,” thinking you would say apple. You said “A stands for Arbonne.” I was blown away! Wesley, I promise you that Arbonne will be a big part of our family’s success and legacy for generations to come. I love your little arms around my neck and your precious kisses with all my heart. Your dad and I are looking forward to meeting your new baby brother or baby sister in March 2008.

To my mom, AM Tess Carter: I am so proud of all that you have accomplished with Arbonne, it is fun to watch you and your team grow. I am so blessed that you decided to join me on this journey, I love you!

To my dad, John Carter: Thanks for all of your support for both mom and I during this journey. Neither one of us would be here without you! I love you!
