SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Don’t let your emotions get the best of you, stay focused by remembering your Why.”

Wow! What a ride and what a joy! On the road to RVP, I learned to not give in to emotion. My emotions told me to quit several times along the way, but my Why was bigger than any frustration, doubt or disappointment that I experienced. My Why included my kids’ school tuition and my ardent hope to share Arbonne’s pure, safe, beneficial products with others. I am thankful I did not give in to my emotions!

My journey began in the fall of 2004 when my husband said, “Get a job.” He claims he did not say it that way, but that is exactly the way I took it. It just so happened that at the time, I was looking for a skin care product that would help my skin’s appearance after some of the sun damage I had done to myself. We live on the coast of southern California and visit the beach often. So, needless to say, I have done my fair share of “baking,” and consequently wrinkling. I knew I needed a product with antioxidants and decided to check this Arbonne stuff out. Not knowing what I was in for, I attended an Arbonne Presentation at ERVP Prizilla Catino’s home in mid-December of 2004. Sitting there listening to DM (now ERVP) Mariam Bell give the Presentation, I looked at Prizilla and exclaimed, “We need to tell our friends about this stuff!” So, that started both of us on our journey to RVP. I am happy to report that Prizilla reached her goal by April 1st, and I achieved my goal on September 1, 2005. In one fell swoop, my search for a great skin care product, as well as a job, was over! Mission accomplished.

I have been very blessed along the way. My first recruit was my
long-time buddy and cohort in “crime,” AM Fayanna Worrell. Then my good friend, Michelle Lanksbury, signed on. With these two gals and a lot of enthusiasm, I charged on to Area Manager by the end of February. Promoting to RVP proved to be a bit more challenging. I entered RVP qualification at the end of March. April and May came and went without me finishing that qualification. I felt discouraged and frustrated not knowing if my team would survive the letdown. I plodded through June. Then July and August came with a bang. My team not only survived, but they helped get me to RVP without a hitch. I cannot wait to see each of them make it to RVP.

Two blessings came to me by way of my cousin, Darla Carthel, and my mom, Marie Keeter. Without hesitation, they jumped on board. It is so fun having my family share in this journey. My mom has reached Area Manager and is finally getting to a place where she may be able to retire with the potential financial freedom she has been waiting for.

For the magnitude of difference and the waves of joy my team makes,
I am naming my Region Oceans of Joy! Our joy is a magnet
attracting others with a similar attitude, which is the key to finding success in this business.

I want to first thank God for being my source of joy and for giving me this awesome opportunity to bless other women.

I want to thank my family for their patience and support through this journey. Clint: I love and appreciate you. I appreciate you being behind my Arbonne adventure. I got that job you told me to get and it is fun. Jenna and Daniel: You two have been very patient to see me over
the hurdles of disappointment. Now we can all revel in the joys of success. Thanks to all three of you for loving and encouraging me.
I love you, you are the best.

ERVP Prizilla Catino: You know I needed you these past eight months. I have told you many times what an incredible leader and encourager you have become. Thank you!

NVP Cathy Epperson, ERVP Tammy Knowles and ERVP Mariam Bell: Thank you all for your instruction and support. What a blessing it is to be a part of your team.

AM Fayanna Worrell and AM Michelle Lanksbury: You are my dream team. You girls are my sisters. Thank you for walking with me along this road. I cannot wait to hand you the keys to your Mercedes-Benz.

AM Marie Keeter: Mom, rock on. Keep that granny leg growing! Thank you for thinking I am wonderful. Moms are good for that.

DM Darla Carthel: I am blessed and thankful you are doing this with me. Just like when we were kids riding horses through the fields, we get to laugh along the way doing Arbonne. Love ya!

DMs, Tina Augello, Shelley Egner, Stacey Morrow, Tekla Brantley, Lizz Mishreki, Connie Tamez, Sabrina Ikalowych, Diane Emanuel, Shawn Glazier, Karen Rivas, Melissa Cuevas, Janice Vodden and Lisa Fitzmaurice: You girls rock! I cannot wait to see you all reach your goals and get your Mercedes-Benz keys, too!

To all of my DMs-in-qualification: Go out and get yours, now. You will not regret the opportunity you have been given.

To my faithful friends and Clients: I appreciate your support and am glad you love the products as much as I do.

To all of my team: I am blessed and honored to be called your leader. I pray for your continued success. Thank you again for joining this bunch of crazy women on this joy ride! It is a joy to know you all.
