When people ask me what I do, I tell them I teach families to save time and have the potential to build additional income. One of the greatest gifts that Arbonne offers is the potential to build an additional stream of income alongside your other activities. In other words, you can build a lifestyle, while just living your life!
As a home educating mom of four, I already had a very full schedule! So this business has been a perfect fit for me. I can build alongside my family activities, and I can teach other families to do the same. I love being able to bless families with the products and the business of Arbonne!
In recent months, my husband, Dr. Bill Goad, a university Professor of Business for 25-plus years, has joined me in doing business overview presentations. He tells our guests, “Network marketing is an ideal information-age business model that gives the average person an opportunity to build significant income. Arbonne is our company of choice because it is positioned at the convergence of several major trends that are fueling unprecedented growth.” A famous author/philosopher said, “When everyone is looking for gold, it is a good time to be in the pick and shovel business.” Dr. Goad’s version, “When everyone is looking for pure, safe products and is in the makeover mindset, gold can be found in the Arbonne business.”
Even though I was not looking for a business when I discovered Arbonne, I was extremely impressed and excited about what I saw when I looked at the compensation plan. Arbonne is definitely the most generous company I have ever seen! I love that they are not only generous with their business builders, but also with their Clients — offering additional discounts on Autoship, specials every month, and even the opportunity to shop without any ordering or sales requirements. This generosity made me want to share Arbonne with my friends!
When I first looked at the business plan, I could see that it made good financial sense to get to District Manager as soon as possible! So, I shared it with a few friends and became DM quickly. After that, I simply built alongside my family activities, pleased to be a part of a company going into incredible momentum. I attended all events within four hours driving distance, as well as NTC, and continued to soak up and bask in the Arbonne culture of giving.
In March 2005, I flew to Phoenix, Ariz, to meet Jerry and Rachele Nichols, and to hear their business overview presentation. I learned about their focused system of building a network of consumers, which was moving their team very quickly. This system was exactly what I was looking for, and I came back with great excitement to train my team.
Everyone loved the new plan of building, and we quickly went into momentum. The excitement created by this simple system of building has been amazing. It really is true — very few people like to sell, but everybody loves to find a great deal and share it with friends! We have found that building a network of friends who shop together and save money together on consumable, botanical products can be a simple way to make additional income without investing a lot of time.
This idea has put our team into momentum and is carrying us to the top! We credit team spirit and team building with our success. We have learned that we can do so much more as a team than we could ever do individually. We love working as a team, we love blessing others as a team … and we love accomplishing as a team!
