I was no stranger to network marketing. Before Arbonne I was encouraged to “buy my way” into a network marketing management position by purchasing $35,000 worth of over-priced vitamins. It soon dawned on me that this was not an ethical firm but I could see the potential in network marketing. So I began my search for a company that had the highest standard of integrity. I wanted a company that sold consumable, affordable products; a company that offered generous compensation at every level, not just at the top. I wanted a company that had been around for a while (Arbonne is in its 24th year). I wanted a company that could eventually achieve more than $100 million in growth but that had not reached saturation. I wanted a company that had a personal, vested interest in the growth and success of every member; that had unlimited potential and that could take me as far as my passion could reach. And I wanted a company that would train me from the start to succeed. It took me six months of due diligence before I found Arbonne, endorsed by Robert Kiyosaki and considered one of the finest network marketing companies in the United States.
Some other information about Arbonne that excited me was: Their natural, botanically-based products and the leadership training in which exceptional women saw the potential in me when I could not see it in myself ... that was a revelation. I realized that I was in a business where every member of the company could succeed. I had finally found the road map to success and in my first year with Arbonne I achieved the honor of being No.1 Parade of Champions winner.
I was born and raised in the Holy Land ... Israel. My mother's family immigrated to Israel in the 1920s, while my father barely escaped the horrors of the holocaust. I had the honor to serve in The Israeli Defense Forces as a commander of basic training and to participate in defending my land during the Yom Kippur War of 1973.
I met my husband Jon 15 years ago in Israel and followed him to the United States, with my 11-year-old son, Dror. When I went into the American marketplace with my 1,000 words of English, I soon discovered that if I was lucky I might get hired to work behind a makeup counter at a department store, for minimum wage. So I became a hypnotherapist. Then I worked with my husband in his mortgage business after which I needed a psychotherapist! I then became a real estate agent and sold ... exactly one house. During this difficult time the only thing that allowed me to express my true potential was raising my son. He quickly mastered the English language along with learning Hebrew, French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese and then graduated with high honors from Harvard University.
Still, I thought, what about me? I had nothing to show for myself personally. Everything I did was for the sake of others. I desperately wanted to make my mark. Money wasn't what drove me; I wanted to break through the self-imposed limitations that caused me to settle for so much less than I believed I was capable of.
Arbonne has been the greatest laboratory in terms of forcing me to take serious stock of myself. The company has gently allowed me to identify the areas that needed improvement and change and has given me the tools and resources to grow and transform.
It's now four years later and I wake up every day and pinch myself in disbelief that I have found Arbonne. I work with wonderful people who believed in me until I could believe in myself. In the traditionally tough world of network marketing, I am surrounded by a “family” who inspires, loves and teaches me how to become a top-drawer professional with my own flourishing business. Today I have achieved a respectable income and I drive a gorgeous white Mercedes but these are just the material benefits. Before Arbonne I had wings; I just didn't know how to use them. Arbonne taught me how to fly. With love and encouragement from Arbonne, I am finally growing into the potential that I knew I had inside all along. I have learned what leadership truly means and I am thrilled to support each new member of our team as they learn that life has so much more to offer. I am excited to be a part of a network in which my own success depends on helping others achieve their highest potential. When the Jewish people began returning to the Holy Land they encountered parched deserts, malaria-infested swamps and fierce bandits. This was quite a different scene from the glory of the days when the Holy Temple stood in Jerusalem. Nevertheless they persevered saying, “We came to build the land; and the land re-built us.”
Originally I came to build an Arbonne business ... and Arbonne re-built me. I am grateful to be a citizen of the greatest land of opportunity the world has ever known and to be a Regional Vice President of one of the finest companies in the world.
