I discovered Arbonne in July of 2003 when my friend, NVP Cheryl Yesberger shared some information about skin care and this incredible company she found. I was intrigued by the excitement I heard in her voice while she told me about Arbonne and the products. She sent me samples and I scheduled a Presentation to find out more. That is when I heard information that changed my life forever!
I had suffered with migraines for nearly nine years, after I gave birth to my first child. The headaches ruled my life during that time. In September 2003, I used the Prolief Natural Balancing Cream for the first time and my migraines decreased. Amazing! Soon after, I tried Arbonne’s anti-aging skin care line, NutriMinC® RE9 and, of course, I loved it from the first day! Now, I will not use anything else. My family and I have been completely “Arbonnized.”
I am a stay-at-home mother of two with a high school education. I worked as a waitress and at a greenhouse before I married my husband, Jim, and had our children. In school, I would get nauseous when I had to give a book report or speech. I hated speaking in front of a crowd and would go out of my way to avoid speaking to people, even those I knew. I would not have even considered speaking in front of a group; the prospect terrified me! I was not “cut out” for public speaking.
When Cheryl and I first spoke about Arbonne, I was looking to get out of network marketing because I spent four years working the system, and it did not work for me. I was tired. I thought, “I am just not cut out to be my own boss.” This is when Cheryl called me, and I am so thankful she did. During our conversation, I realized she and ENVP Susan Butcher had the key, and they were willing to show me the way!
I spent the next two months discovering Arbonne as a company. I learned the SuccessPlan, became familiar with the products and used as many as possible. I became a student of network marketing and learned all I could from my incredible upline and crossline. I was determined to do this right and devoted serious thought to what I wanted for my family and myself. I wanted us to be debt free, financially sound and free to spend our time doing what we wanted instead of what had to be done. I wanted freedom and realized Arbonne had the potential to give me this freedom, if I worked for it.
I decided I wanted it all! I wanted to be an NVP and I told everyone I met I was going to earn the Mercedes-Benz. Many of my friends and family were skeptical, but I was determined and their disbelief fueled my desire to achieve. I began to think, talk, eat, drink, and even dream about the Mercedes-Benz. Several months after committing to this goal my husband, Jim, downloaded a wallpaper background for my computer. Every time I went to work, I saw a picture of the Mercedes-Benz, the goal, staring back at me from my computer screen. That was so powerful — I had to see myself in that car.
While the road to RVP was not easy, and filled with difficult endeavors, the mental obstacles I overcame proved to be the most arduous. Who I am now was worth the whole journey. This has been a dream come true, and there are many people to thank.

I would not have been able to do this without your love and understanding, and willingness to sacrifice a little now to gain a lot down the road. I am devoted to you and thank you with all my heart for believing in me and never giving up on my dream.
