I am so thankful for the gift of Arbonne. It has allowed me the freedom of choice. I live my life today and will live it in the future how I have always wanted. I always had big dreams for my life. Arbonne is about making those dreams come true. I am able to stay home with my kids, have the potential of making an incredible income and drive a white Mercedes-Benz. Wow!
It has been a little over three years since I started building my business. My mom, AM Susan Alberti, was getting a pedicure next to my eventual sponsor, ENVP Christie Feighan. That meeting has changed so many lives. After I signed up to get a discount, my husband and I realized the potential of the Arbonne opportunity. We saw that it could be the answer we had been looking for.
We have three children and my son, the youngest, would be going to school soon, which meant that I would have to go back to work. With only two years of college and having been out of the workforce for eight years, I believed that I was not qualified for anything. What was I going to do? I knew I would have to spend a lot of time making a little bit of money, because I was going to have to start at the bottom. Working 9-to-5 was not something I particularly looked forward to. I did not want someone telling me when I could do something. I wanted to be able to pick up my kids from school, go on field trips, or take a week, maybe even two or three off in the summer. I wanted to have that freedom of choice. So, with Christie’s guidance, the inspiration of ENVPs Cecilia Stoll and Ann Wandishin, and the support of my wonderful husband, Paul, and my awesome kids, Amanda, Aimee and Alex, I jumped in and started my Arbonne business in January 2003.
I scheduled eight Presentations in my first month and did that continuously until I had promoted to Area Manager in May. Little did I know I would remain at that level for awhile. I cried in my closet for hours and prayed for those business builders to show. It was finally revealed to me that it was not all about the products, but also about the opportunity. So, I shared this excitement with my team and we were off to Region. I promoted to RVP in January 2005. Now, a little over a year later, I have reached NVP! It took me four months to reach Nation, my biggest leap in the shortest amount of time. It just goes to show that you must never quit or give up. Keep your goals and dreams in front of you, and do not let anybody tell you this will not work or that you cannot do it! I am here to say, “It works!” Where else could you start at the bottom with no education and end up at the top in three years? It has been the best journey of my life. I have grown from the inside out, and the outside in. I am not the same woman who began this journey.
I have learned that sometimes we believe we have a better way of doing things than our upline. But, we must listen to our upline anyway until we earn the potential to make the same amount of money as they do. I have learned that we fear doing things we do not know. I remember my first Presentations and phone calls. I almost shook right out of my shoes. I have learned to just do them, anyway. I have learned you will get tired on this journey. Juggling kids, minding your husband, accommodating the cooking, cleaning and all the other activities of life will interrupt your attempts to run a business. Just do it, anyway. I have learned it is hard to overcome doubt. That little voice in your head may tell you that you might not succeed. Just believe you will, anyway. I have learned that not everyone will share your vision or dream, including your family, best friends or your team. Just dream on, anyway. I have learned that people will put you down. You will not be able to please or help everyone because as a human being, you are going to let people down sometimes; and they may talk bad about you and misunderstand. Just persevere through it, anyway. Goals are sometimes not reached in time. Just write them down, anyway. I have also learned this Arbonne journey is not all about me, but about my family, team and the people I meet every day. It is about showing them how Arbonne can change their lives. I have been given an opportunity to give people choices in their lives, and the lives of their families and friends. So, even if you have not learned that for yourself, yet … just do this Arbonne business, anyway.
Take your chance with Arbonne and believe in what it is offering you because it is a business with integrity; a business that will take you on a life-changing journey and will give you your freedom of choice. I appreciate Arbonne as a company. Producing the best products that are beneficial, and providing the tools and education to show us how to be positive and knowledgeable, is a noble calling. It is incredible how you can be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. The compensation plan is amazing — Arbonne is an incredible company.
First of all, I want to thank God for changing my life. I will always remember that it is He who has blessed me. I will always give Him the credit.

You all were the reasons for doing Arbonne. I love being with you every day. You are my inspiration. I will always be there for you. I love you.
