The gift of Arbonne was presented to me by my husband, Russ, in August of 2005, after a colleague of his proudly mentioned how passionate his wife was about her new business venture.
To go back four years, I left a successful career with representing two television network affiliates only two days before our sweet, little Jacob was born prematurely. Then 17 months later, our beautiful, very lively daughter, Sierra joined the family. I have experienced tremendous joy as a stay-at-home mom. Witnessing all their firsts has been wonderful: First smile, first step and first word. All of these have been absolutely precious moments.
On the outside, it seemed I had it all: A wonderful husband, beautiful kids and no real need to work. On the inside, the reality was that I was unsettled and restless. I wanted professional work in my life again. I needed some different challenges. I frequently updated my resume and then did absolutely nothing with it because I thought it would mean sacrificing time and my responsibilities as a mom and wife. This, combined with the fact our finances were always taken care of, the prospect of returning to a career of my own remained difficult to justify. So, the inner struggle continued until I was introduced to Arbonne, at the perfect time!
I met with Kellie Yurosek to learn about her Arbonne experience. Her Presentation about the company, products and how it fit into her family’s life was both professional and inspiring. What appealed to me initially was the potential monthly average income available at each promotion level. Knowing how much National Vice Presidents could possibly earn and how quickly many were achieving this level, I had a strong interest in learning more about this business and its tremendous potential. What about the Arbonne products? Would I be able to believe in them, since I knew it was required to make a commitment?
The night Russ and I sampled the products, we experienced something magical. We were side by side, giggling, and describing how wonderful our skin felt. We were already having fun with Arbonne, just by experiencing the products, and not a single cent had been earned at that point! All night I tossed and turned. I was imagining our future and thinking of all the people I wanted to share the opportunity with since the products were already making a difference in my life, after only one application! I knew our lives were about to change, so I decided then to fully embrace Arbonne and everything it offered. I told Russ big things were about to happen for our family. I am certain that even with my belief in Arbonne then, neither of us knew just how remarkable and significant this gift would turn out to be.
While this journey began as a pursuit for something professional and to pursue the income potential, the greatest benefit has been the friendships I have made along the way. I formed new relationships through my business and old ones were greatly enriched as an incredibly fun outlet was added to my life! Life can be too serious at times, or we tend to take ourselves too seriously. I absolutely love that we can have fun while building a successful business with Arbonne. This Region is comprised of extraordinary people who inspire me daily. I have become a better person as a result of being part of this team with its glowing, positive energy.
I started this business with a precise action plan and have attracted ambitious leaders, who strive for more and never settle. Committing to our awesome monthly goals and believing in our own abilities to share what Arbonne has to offer, are key components for us. We expect obstacles (as with any business), but we truly have the opportunity to potentially give ourselves a pay raise each month based on our efforts and activity. We proceed with purpose and have a real passion for sharing this gift with others. Our goals are met as we help others achieve great things. Whether it is through using high-quality personal care products or becoming part of an unparalleled opportunity, one thing is certain: Lives change once Arbonne is introduced.
To my husband, Russ: I love you, sweetie. You have given me so much to be thankful for, especially our beautiful family. Your support and encouragement bonds us even more. From this experience, I have rediscovered the missing link I had lost — that feeling of professional accomplishment. Now I feel complete, knowing with Arbonne, I can do it all: Build an amazing business without compromising my primary focus, which is on you and our children. I am fulfilled personally, which has made me a much better mom and wife. I could not ask for more.
