My journey with Arbonne began in May 2005 when my mother and sister were introduced to the awesome anti-aging skin care products by my mom’s best friend, ERVP Amelia Benavides. Both of them fell in love with the products immediately. I was surprised by this, knowing that their skin types were so different. One has extremely dry skin and the other has extremely oily skin. When I tried the products and experienced the same wonderful results, I knew that the NutriMinC® RE9 anti-aging skin care line was unique. After researching the company and all of the other product lines, I realized Arbonne has something to offer everyone.
For the past 15 years, I have worked full-time as an occupational therapist. I fell in love with helping others to regain their independence with every day tasks that we all take for granted. The job is fulfilling and rewarding, knowing that I can improve the quality of life for patients and their family members. Now that I have a husband and two small children, my dreams have shifted and are now focused on my family. As I watch my children grow, I want to have the potential for financial freedom and more time to be in their lives during their formative years. When I learned about the Arbonne opportunity, I felt this was my vehicle to achieve those goals. I had never heard of Arbonne when I fell in love with the exquisite products, so I knew that given the opportunity to try them, others would too. Not only could I share these high-quality products with people, but I could also help them achieve their dreams by teaching them to create the potential to earn an income stream for themselves as well.
After I had decided to do the business, my belief in the NutriMinC® RE9 anti-aging skin care line was reaffirmed time and time again by the phenomenal testimonials from several friends and family members. Although my belief in the anti-aging line was strong, I still did not understand the whole concept of network marketing and the importance of building a network of Clients using all of the Arbonne product lines. My main focus was on selling the NutriMinC® RE9 skin care sets. I did not always offer the Arbonne opportunity when I had the chance. Many times, I approached people thinking they would never do this business. Looking back, I realized I was pre-judging them unfairly. I have learned not to do that anymore and always share the wonderful Arbonne opportunity with everyone. I have business builders on my team who started out as product users only, and now have decided to pursue their dreams of becoming potentially financially independent.
Since signing on to do an Arbonne business, I am encouraged to think outside of the box. I had to learn to step out of my comfort zone in order to share this gift with everyone. Was it easy? No way! Nothing great in life happens without many sacrifices. Our team has experienced many trials and we have all grown from our experiences. Our hard work and relentless efforts were definitely rewarded. I take no credit for the success of our team, except for opening the door and welcoming others who shared the same dream to join me on this life-changing journey. Arbonne is definitely a personal development company disguised as a skin care company.
