SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“If you are going to think anyway, you might as well think big.”

If I am dreaming, please do not wake me. What a year 2004 has been! It is mind boggling that you can become successful by teaching others to be successful. What a concept! This truly is the American dream.

I was in corporate sales and marketing before I had kids, and clung on to the security of a paycheck. Then, five years ago, I was fortunate enough to attend an Arbonne Presentation hosted by ENVP Donna Johnson, that changed the direction of my life. I was a happy stay-at-home mom to three busy boys, but restless and felt like something was missing from my life. For as long as I can remember, I was searching for a way to make a difference. I did not know what I was looking for when Arbonne came into my life. I was not sure if I was an entrepreneur, or if I could even develop the skills needed to become a leader. The process started when I fell in love with the products and watched as Donna magnified the vision for me.

Over the past five years, I have shared the products with many women. When I really started having fun with the Presentations, enjoying the journey and leading with the business opportunity, I began to attract business partners and then the real fun began.

Within two years of catching the vision of Arbonne, a white Mercedes-Benz is parked in front of our new Camas, Washington home. On April 1, I became an Executive Regional Vice President. I thought I was done, but eight months later we went from Region to Nation. In September, while attending the ASAP Cancún 2004 trip, our volume reached $152,000. I finally started to believe in my ability to succeed with Arbonne and transferred this belief on to my team, so we could become a Nation. In October, we reached $185,000, and in November, $215,000. We finished up our qualification in two strong months.

I have been so blessed by the most amazing women in my Arbonne journey. First, by ENVP Donna Johnson leading, teaching and guiding me through this process. I am so grateful that Donna gave me the gift of Arbonne. She inspired me to dream about where I could be in five years. If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting. Wow, thank goodness I followed her lead. The personal and financial growth is amazing. If she had been selfish with this great opportunity, I would be in the same place I was five years ago thinking I was happy.

Our business is about belief and action. By following some key tips, you can reach your dreams. Believe and be consistent; be coachable and do everything your sponsor tells you to do; do not re-invent the wheel, but follow the leaders who have forged the way; identify leaders in your business and help them lead their teams; attend every meeting in your area and get your team to NTC; dream big and offer products and opportunity to everyone; fall in love with the process and share, share, share. If you knew what I know and the lifestyle you could create for your family by embracing this opportunity, nothing would stop you. We have the opportunity to bless and change lives.

I am so thankful for my dear, sweet husband who encouraged me to “do the do.” He gave me the nudge by taking away all of my excuses why I could not do this business. If it was not for him seeing and believing in me, I do not think I would be here. He is so excited for our future. My team loves having him around. I am so thankful for his coaching and encouragement. To my three boys, James, Brandon and Collin: Thank you for using all the Arbonne products and giving me your testimonies, and for being my best cheerleaders. I am so grateful for my Arbonne business, that I have not missed watching you grow up. I love being home to hear my three favorite words, “Mom, I’m home.”

I am so grateful for my first business builder, first Arbonne friend, first RVP and soon-to-be-NVP, Debbie Ropella. You are a true leader!

In October of 2003, I met two of my soul-mate sisters; RVP Christy Aldrich and soon-to-be-RVP, Shelby Howard. I feel God put them in my life. They are two of the most wonderful, awesome women who bless me every day. I had to become a leader because they needed a leader to follow. I will forever be grateful to them for that. Christy, you inspire me and I love starting each day by checking in with you. Shelby, you have taught me so much, especially that “it is all good.” You two are the best. Becoming a Nation is definitely a team effort and I am so fortunate to have a dynamic group of leaders to work with.

To Petter, Candee and Stian: You have changed thousands of lives. Thank you for this amazing gift you have given us to give to others. To Rita: Thank you for all of your constant motivation and for encouraging me to be my best.

To AMs Angela Robinson, Barbara Beaty, Kathy Britton, Jeanne Leege, Kari Resch and Michelle Thoud: You inspire me and I see a white Mercedes-Benz in your driveways very soon.

To DMs Tracy Petitjean, Dianna Fennessey, Dick and Patsy Nickel, Bonney Kratzer, Teresa Parra, Lynda Davis, Sheila Myers, Jana Jones, Gladys Eckroth, Toni Hannan, Lynda Blain, Candy Posey, Shelly Reimer, Sharon Murphin, Kimberly Pike, Kristine Klitzke, Colleen Stelmach, Anne Spina, Julie Weisshahn, Kris Loveland, Teresa O’Dell, Nancy Sievert, Janine Micke, Anne Evarts, Ruth Ann Freier, Jacquelyn Achambea, Mary Manci, Erin Speelman, Tamara Speelman, Jenny Coduti and Lauri Speelman: Thank you for all of your efforts. I am cheering you on to reach your dreams.

To all my friends, relatives and Consultants: Thank you for supporting me with orders and inviting me into your homes. Mom and dad, thank you for always cheering me on.

To my wonderful crosslines: Thank you for opening your hearts to me. I love you all. It is great to have our meetings together to share and help each other.

To all the ENVPs and NVPs — Karen Premier, Thea O’Donoghue, Kathleen Heyn, Dana Collins, Cecilia Stoll, Shannon Johnson, Stacy Thorn and Deanna Osborn: You have all impacted my business in one way or another with awesome training tools, leadership and motivation. Thank you.

To Pat Diermier: You are a true unsung hero. Thank you for all that you do for us. I do not know what I would have done without you. Thank you for always being there and for helping me with reports and qualification numbers. I need a Pat!

If you are going to dream, you might as well dream big.
