SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Stay the course and begin again each day.”

My story began long before I became an Arbonne Independent
Consultant in May 2004. I believe I came out of the womb destined for a life in skin care and cosmetics. For as long as I can remember, I have been “fixin’” people up (okay, yes, I am from Arkansas). When I was a little girl, I would try to makeover almost everyone I knew — not excluding my brother, Chris. Helping others feel beautiful brought me such joy and while I always saw beauty in others, I never saw it in myself. I believe God’s way of bringing you back to your own inner beauty often begins with helping others. Little did I know the journey to discovering my own hidden beauty would span three decades and ultimately lead me to Arbonne.

My Arbonne business has allowed me to go back and heal the wounds of childhood abuse and poverty. It has taught me to reach deep inside and see my true worth and potential. I have learned that it is okay to reach out to my upline and crossline for help. Arbonne has allowed me to move forward toward my destiny. The best part is that I get to take my awesome team with me to the top!

I was introduced to Arbonne on a beautiful Monday morning when my friend, Nicki Northcutt, came into my corporate office and said, “I have found the perfect job for you. I know you have been talking about wanting to work with a health and wellness company. Well, I have found a perfect opportunity to do so with a company called Arbonne. I think you would be great at this!” I immediately perked up and listened to everything she shared with me. We scheduled a lunch with NVP Melissa Cole and I knew from the moment I met her that this was indeed a divine appointment. Despite mispronouncing Arbonne for several weeks, I jumped in with both feet. I became a District Manager in six months. Although it took me five months to find my first business builder, after attending NTC 2005 Las Vegas, I immediately went into qualification for Area Manager and promoted to Regional Vice President one year later.

There were many times while growing my business when it would have been very easy for me to quit. I am a single mother of three beautiful children and want you to know there were days when I thought to myself, “Will this work for us or am I being irresponsible by not getting a regular job? How many times do I have to begin again?” But in such an amazing way, as I stayed the course, those questions were answered in a positive way. I have heard it said that you never ask a question you already know the answer to. The truth is, in my heart, I knew the answers all along. Not only would this business work, it would be irresponsible of me to go back to a regular job. The beauty of this business is that you have the opportunity to begin again at any time.

I have learned that a leader is a person who encourages others to struggle while reassuring them that their hardship will be well worth it in the end. So I have always instructed my team to battle and overcome their fears in order to unlock unimaginable rewards. For anyone reading my Eye on Arbonne story who has ever thought, “It is great that so many people have reached Arbonne success, but this could never happen for me,” I want to tell you that I initially thought that as well. Now, here I am experiencing incredible success, so I know it can happen to you, too. You simply need to follow the system consistently, never give up on your dreams and never allow your circumstances to overshadow the greatness that lies within you.

There are so many people I would like to thank for helping me on my journey. Just when I think I am bursting at the seams with beautiful people in my life, my world gets bigger.

I must begin by thanking God. He has brought me so far from where I began and, with every breath I take, He remains at my side.

To my precious babies, Kirsten, Blake (yes, Blake, you are my baby!) and Seth: You are my life. You have made sacrifices for us to build this business and it belongs to you as much as me. I love the three of you with all my heart!

To NVP Melissa Cole: Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. Words are inadequate to express how much I value our friendship. You are one of the greatest gifts God has brought into my life.

To ENVP Ann Wandishin: You amaze me! You are the kind of leader I want to become. Thank you for sharing your sweet spirit with all of us.

To AM Ashley Mathis: I cannot wait to see you go Region this year! I am so proud of the wonderful leader you have become to your team. Your Arbonne journey has just begun.

To my DMs: Plant your feet firmly and decide that, no matter what, you will follow your dreams. I will see each of you at the top!

To my family: I appreciate all the times you bought product just to support my business even when you did not need it. I will never be able to thank you enough for the help you gave me with the kids while I built my business. I love you all.

To my cousin, Leigh: I could not ask for a better business partner. Your team in Arkansas is phenomenal. I love you.

To my crossline Arbonne partners: My life is richer because you all are in it.

Last, but certainly not least, to my significant other, Brandyn: You are the best! Your selflessness and love for me is like nothing I have ever experienced. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader. I know that must have been a difficult transition for you as an ex-football player and I appreciate you more than you will ever know. I love you.
