Every day I pray to God to put my business in His hands, bless my team and help me make a difference in other people’s lives. My Arbonne business has been a gift from God. I believe everything happens for a reason; if you pay close attention to all things that happen in your life, you will see the stepping-stones that God has laid out for you to walk the path to your dreams.
I always wanted to stay home when I had children and I have been so blessed to do so … thank you, Ernie … then something happened that I never dreamt possible. Even though I loved being home with my children, something was missing in my life. I wanted to be me again, not just the wife and mother. Being present at home to make a difference in our children’s lives is the hardest, most important job. Ironically, it doesn’t come with great pay, bonuses or incentives. That’s what I was looking for and I found it in Arbonne.
Up until November 2001, I suffered from skin problems. At that time I was a model so my skin was very important to me — I tried everything on the market. Nothing made a difference until I started using Arbonne products. After learning why Arbonne was different and why these ingredients were important to the care of my skin, I decided everyone needed this information — I jumped in with both feet. The opportunity was exciting and the products were awesome! I wanted to tell everyone all about them. I promoted to DM in three months and AM in one year, but it has been the journey to RVP that has changed my life.
It has been a bumpy road to success. I started off with a bang but God had other plans for me. I tell my team to work their Arbonne business, and if you don’t see results right away, don’t give up because everything you do in your business is going to create a result — be it immediate or long term. The point is to work your Arbonne business at all times and always take the positives from every situation.
After we attended NTC 2003 Nashville, my husband accepted a position with a different company. We moved to Georgia only two weeks after I gave birth to our daughter, Jenna. We didn’t know a soul in Georgia except the real estate agent. So, I started selling Arbonne to her! In Indiana, none of my upline were local. My sponsor, NVP Nancy Wilcox was on the East Coast and ENVP Donna Weiser was on the West Coast; so it was up to me to do it! I was very determined and had great phone coaching from ENVP Donna Weiser, ERVP Sally Hallada and NVP Nancy Wilcox. Moving to a new area with zero contacts was like starting over; I viewed it as a bigger opportunity. I had already sponsored an ACE — RVP Janet Elliott — who promoted soon after my move and was going strong in Indiana. It was up to me to repeat the success in Georgia. I love my Arbonne business and believe that if you give, you will receive. Life will become richer with blessings — thanks Rita! I have grown both personally and spiritually. Arbonne is a tool for bigger things … past this lifetime. To make a positive difference in the lives of people by benefiting them in health and wealth is the true reward behind selling Arbonne products. Believing and having faith has made the difference in my business.
