Two years ago, I had no idea that an invitation to try Arbonne skin care products was going to change my life; or that this would lead me to blessings so abundant that I had never even considered them possible. The decision I made to seize this opportunity made all the difference in my life. Consider your dreams for a moment; now imagine them becoming true and multiplied by 10! At about 13 years of age, I knew I wanted to be a geologist. At the same time, I also knew that when my skin was not at its best, it could be painful. I grew up with eczema all over my face and body, as well as typical teenage acne problems. I remember asking myself, If a genie gave me one wish, what would it be? I realized my wish would be to have new and different skin. Unfortunately, rubbing bottles yielded no genie.
Eventually, my first dream came true, and two weeks before the birth of my second son, I graduated with a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the University of Texas. I found myself at the beginning of the career I had dreamed about and worked at for 20 years, but this dream could not compete with the two precious boys that had since blessed my life. I realized that fulfilling my life-long professional goals might bring me career satisfaction and financial resources, but at the same time, it would take away my freedom to raise my boys. I was forced to decide between the two freedoms. I chose to be a mom rather than a scientist and left my career in geology to raise my boys. At the time, I really believed having both financial and time freedom at the same time was impossible … and then I found Arbonne.
After spending much time and energy trying many different skin care products, and not getting the desired results, I personally experienced amazing improvement in my skin with the Arbonne skin care products. Seeing both the products and business as gifts, I jumped right into the business and never looked back. Yes, there were times of doubt and frustration along the way, but giving up was not an option because I made a conscience choice to listen to my dreams rather than my fears. Thank goodness! It has made all the difference in my life today. I am living a life now that is a direct consequence of the choice I made two years ago. What about you?
