Wow, I have never experienced anything like Arbonne before. Just when you think you know what it is all about, you are pleasantly surprised with new insights, and new, exhilarating emotions. That is exactly what happened to me on my journey to Nation. It was completely different than my journey to Region because of my thought process. Getting to Region was such a whirlwind affair that in the middle of it, I sometimes found myself thinking it was too good to be true! Please do not get me wrong — I really enjoyed participating in the Mercedes-Benz cash bonus program. I also enjoyed taking my husband on the incredible incentive trips that Arbonne offers. But on my road to Nation, I completely set aside the “me” factor and focused on helping others to achieve their dreams. I found amazing fulfillment in changing people’s lives through sponsoring, teaching and training because it gave me such a rush and always put a smile on my face to know that I was making a difference in so many lives. At times, ignorance is bliss! I was barely aware of how far my business had progressed because I was enjoying the process of getting there. Now, serving others motivates me to achieve my short-term and long-term goals.
Before I started my Arbonne business, I had been my own boss, owning and running a massage therapy practice. Yet, I had limited flexibility and freedoms. If I wanted a raise, I could give myself one; and if I wanted to take a day off of work, I could take the day off. But, I did not get paid when I did not work and I could not increase my income without increasing my workload. I experienced firsthand what it was like to be an employee and at the mercy of those I worked for. Feeling frustrated with the limitations, I set an immediate goal to take control of my professional life.
If you are reading my Eye on Arbonne success story and are in doubt about starting your own Arbonne home-based business, I want you to ask yourself, “What is your professional plan if something should happen to the primary breadwinner in your family?” This is a frightening question to ask, especially if you love what you are currently doing, as I did. Everyone should have a plan B because they cannot predict the future. Arbonne became my alternative plan and has proven to be a far better one than I could ever imagine.
In approximately 18 months, my Arbonne business had generated income equal to my income as a full-time massage therapist, seeing 30-plus clients a week and managing all business-related functions. At that point, my motivation to reach Nation became much stronger. Goals were realigned, priorities were shifted and Arbonne became my primary focus. The greatest thing about Arbonne is that it is, in a sense, a personal growth company disguised as a skin care company.
When I grew personally, my business grew professionally. When I taught those who were motivated to develop themselves personally, they, too, developed professionally. My incredible SuccessLine, upline and crossline friends believed in me and encouraged me all the way. Their teaching will always be a part of my daily activities.
If you have ever ran a race, then you understand the feeling of “hitting the wall.” You may be running and running, then suddenly, you have detrimental thoughts and all you hear is someone shouting, “You can do it.” Immediately, you regain your composure and think, “Yes, I can do it.” Then, your legs start to weaken and your mind starts to doubt your ability to pursue the finish line. All of a sudden, you see the finish line and your adrenaline kicks in. Your legs somehow get stronger and you kick into overdrive. Before you know it, you have crossed the finish line! In Arbonne, you are never without a cheering section. You will always have the voices of support and encouragement to ward off sudden bursts of fear and self-doubt. There will always be someone around to lift your spirits and lend you their belief when you fall short on yours. That is what really separates Arbonne from the rest!
The key to this business is building your belief in network marketing, in yourself, and learning how to be a good leader and teacher. When I began believing I was good enough to achieve Nation, our team had more of a vision to fulfill their dreams. I increased my belief by associating with those who were achieving what I hoped to achieve. They have the vision and understanding of what it takes to achieve that goal. I strongly believe in borrowing your leader’s vision until your goals are met.
My Arbonne business is truly a blessing and the greatest thing is that now I have the choice to grow as big as I would like. The sky is the limit! This business and the life you gain through it are absolutely amazing! Arbonne has given my husband, Michael, and me the opportunity to take better control of our lives. It has given us the opportunity to have the potential to help our family with their financial needs. It has also allowed us to travel the world and have the means to create an incredible portfolio. Most of all, we now have the flexibility to work from home and spend time with our English bulldog puppy. Our lives have truly been blessed by this special gift of Arbonne.
My advice to anyone who is thinking about starting their own Arbonne business is to live and ignite your dreams now. Do not wait for a better time. Gain control of your life. Never allow anyone to steal your dreams and just reassure yourself that you can do it! With hard work, persistence and perseverance, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. That said, there is no better time to get your running sneakers on and get in on the marathon of your life, than right now. No one really cares how fast or slow you run the race, just as long as you finish!
