SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“Understand this: If your vision does not cost you something, it is a daydream.”

I was not in the market for skin care or a home-based business. I never had a desire to run a business of my own. I was comfortable and fulfilled pouring myself into the role of mom and wife. This was my calling. At least, that is what I thought, until I went to an Arbonne Presentation. I left that meeting feeling challenged to do more and be more. I wanted to dream big, step outside of comfortable and average, and find the desires and passions that were lost when I decided to “settle.” I knew that success with Arbonne was possible because I had friends who were a lot like me, who had just jumped into the business and became successful. That night, I saw Arbonne as my vehicle to have the potential for an unlimited future.

Even though I saw the potential, I still wrestled with a bit of fear and self-belief. Should I go out on a limb and explore where this would take me? After a week of sleepless nights, my husband asked, “If you do not do this, will you regret it in two years?” Immediately, I knew the answer was a resounding “yes.” So I put doubt, fear and hesitation aside, and took the plunge. With that decision, I felt at peace that this was settled in my heart and mind.

The same month I started my business, my husband was deployed for an 18-month assignment. It was as if I had become a business owner and single mother of three all at once. For those with a full plate and no spare time, I can relate. The wonderful thing is that Arbonne does not require a lot of time, just consistent time. After a family meeting, we all committed to making the necessary sacrifices to allow me to build my Arbonne business. Thankfully, my husband returned after only eight months!

From the beginning, my purpose for sharing this business has been to provide others with options in their lives. How many people are doing what they do because they feel trapped? How many men and women start their days at daybreak, battle traffic in a long commute, put in countless hours at a job and fight traffic home to be too exhausted for anything else? My burning desire is to present those men and women with the gift of Arbonne — to find the people who desire more time and freedom and more choices for themselves and their families.

The most spectacular thing about my Arbonne business is that it is not just about me. This journey that I began a year ago has become about so many people and their dreams of a better life. Fortunately, Arbonne is absolutely contagious and is spreading like wildfire.

Thank You to God from Whom all good things come.

To my children, Joshua, Jocelyn and Jonathon: I know that you had to go to bed on many nights without me being there to tuck you in, and sometimes had to wait patiently while mommy was on the phone or computer. There were many of your school functions and sporting events that I missed. But despite everything, you supported and encouraged me every step of the way. You all are my greatest treasures!

To my loving husband: You were always in my corner. It is so refreshing to be able to dream again. Thanks for being by my side throughout my Arbonne journey.

To my upline, ERVP Sheila Greene and my sponsor, EAM Kathy Conner: We are changing lives, households and communities through this amazing vehicle. If it were not for your love for me, I would not be on this incredible journey toward my purpose. Thank you for choosing to give me this gift.

To all the wonderful men and women on my team: You caught a glimpse of the greatness within yourselves when you opened the gift of Arbonne. Now pass on that vision to others.

To my first business partner, EDM Yvette Wilson: Your kids are ready for their “RVP car” and their puppy. Do not keep them waiting!

To EAM Sheila Green: Thanks for choosing to trust me and jumping into Arbonne. Let us have two Sheila Greens walking the stage at NTC 2007.

To Debbie Juhen: Hang in there. All of your hard work and perseverance is going to pay off.

To DM Monica Bradshaw: Do not quit.

To Keisha Johnson: Your business is going to take off and you will have a strong team.

To Jen Martin: I know you are going to do whatever it takes to get to the top.

To my mom, Debbie Sayles: Thanks so much for filling my head with positive affirmations. I have always known that I was loved greatly and unconditionally. I will love you forever!

To EAM Lisa Davidson, AM Wendy McCullough, EAM Carol Perrin, AM Deb Round, DM Mary Beth Horn, DM Paulette Ucci, DM Bridget Valentino, DM Danielle Hawsey, DM Diane Kinlocke, DM Carol Caliri and DM Teresa Weber: Keep your focus and vision on the goal in front of you and you will be driving your Mercedes-Benz soon. Remember, together we rise.

To all of our Consultants and Clients: My sincere gratitude goes out to all of you for loving Arbonne products as much as I do. Your support means everything.

To President Rita Davenport, Chairman & CEO Bob Henry, Executive Vice President Stian Mørck, Sr. VP Product Development & Field Events, Candace Keefe, Sr. VP Marketing Brad Wayment and the entire Home Office staff: You make all of our dreams possible. Thanks for not compromising and building a strong, ethical company that we can be proud of. We are forever grateful!

To everyone reading my Eye on Arbonne story: You are being presented with a chance to totally change your life and the lives of people you care about. In the words of ENVP Cindy Pipkin, “What if I am right?”
