Timing is everything … and it is perfect. You are reading this Eye on Arbonne flyer for a reason and I hope that my story can encourage and strengthen your belief in this opportunity. Arbonne has given me what I did not know I missed or needed. I did have a “past life”… that is, before I had children. My corporate job was with an upscale, New York City-based fashion designer. I traveled all week as a corporate trainer and regional manager.

When my first daughter was born, however, my priorities changed. We scaled back the budget and I chose to stay home. It was the best decision I ever made. Now, with three daughters, my family is my first priority. Many women make the same choices I did and pour all of their time and energy into their family without realizing that they are giving up a huge part of themselves. They assume that once the kids are in school they will be able to have the time to figure out what they want to do. If that sounds like you, please seriously consider this opportunity … because you can do this now and still keep your family first.

I was introduced to Arbonne when EAM Debbie Murphy invited me to a Presentation that she was hosting in April of 2004. I had received so many invitations to other home-based business Presentations and I was not interested in going to any more. What intrigued me about this was that I had never heard of Arbonne; and since using botanically-based products was important to me, I decided to go. Although impressed, I was extremely skeptical about the network marketing industry. I knew people who had attempted to follow similar business models. All of them had been mislead and were promised results that were not realistic, and eventually, they failed.

At the time, my skepticism got the best of me, so I did not get involved with Arbonne. Debbie continued encouraging me to try the products in order to experience the results. I tried the NutriMinC® RE9 product line and noticed a difference within a few days. In the meantime, I started to research the company, the opportunity it offered and the products. What I learned about the growth potential and timing amazed me, and I decided to make a commitment to build my own business right away … I saw no risk! My Arbonne journey began on September 1, 2004.

My first regret is that I spent the whole month of September self-educating on product knowledge. I realize now that you do not have to know everything about the product or business to get into activity. Since I did not speak to anyone in September, I focused on scheduling consistent activity over the next two months. My second regret is that once I completed District Manager, I decided to take a break due to the holidays. Since I took off in December, I did not schedule any activity for January. Then I re-evaluated my commitment, got into activity and I was able to complete Area Manager as of April 1st. I also decided that I would not have any more regrets with this business by staying in constant, consistent activity.

Completing Region has been a team effort. I am humbled by the enthusiasm, commitment and support from my business partners, and I feel so blessed and grateful to have these wonderful people in my life.
