I was first introduced to Arbonne two years ago on my 40th birthday. A couple of my neighbors gave me the gift of a lifetime by giving me the Prolief Natural Balancing Cream and Awaken Sea Salt Scrub wrapped up in a pretty bow. I fell in love with both products, although the opportunity and business was what really caught my attention.
Arbonne was the right company, at the right time, and entering a period of massive growth. My intuition told me this was the opportunity I had been looking for — one that would give me purpose, personal growth and the potential for financial freedom.
You know the commonly known phrase, “Timing is everything.” The first time I walked into a Presentation, I knew I found what my mind and heart were looking for, it was the awesome energy from those present that was truly electrifying. I knew I had to share this incredible opportunity with others. During this meeting, NVPs Jerry Conti and Jana Good were doing their photo shoot with their brand-new Mercedes-Benzes. Then ENVP Sandra Tillinghast spoke about the opportunity. I was absorbing every word like a thirsty plant in need of water. The official Mercedes-Benz car presentation was a month later, and by then I had qualified for DM. I was blessed again. President Rita Davenport was there to celebrate the event, and she stood next to me while I was recognized and gave me a 14K gold DM pin. She congratulated me and with her southern accent said, “District Manager is a great place to visit, but you do not want to stay too long!” Of course, Rita was right and I promoted to AM right away. This was possible because I had my “a-ha” moment, and wanted to take full advantage of Arbonne’s excellent compensation plan.
My business is not all about making money; however, it is about balance and having the potential to have more time and freedom — the freedom to do what I want, when I want. It is about family, friends, fun and the lasting relationships that create memories, which carry us through life while having the potential to make a great income. I love Arbonne because I can have it all — great products, wonderful relationships, time with family and friends, awesome company support and a residual income!
Currently, Arbonne fits my family lifestyle like a glove. Since we live in California and Europe, my family travels a lot between both continents. My husband, Jacques, works for an international organization in the Netherlands. Our eldest son, Bryce, 20, is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps (when he is not deployed in foreign lands fighting terrorism, he is stationed in Hawaii), and I homeschool our youngest son, Derek, 14. My home-based business allows us the flexibility to travel anywhere in the world, spend time around home in Europe and visit our other son, Bryce, in Hawaii whenever we want. I have Arbonne leaders on both the east and west coasts. All I need is a computer and a phone connection, and I can be in contact with my team, no matter where I am.
My goal in this blessed life of mine is to make a difference in the lives of others. I want to help people become the teachers and leaders they desire to be. I believe, as a society, we need to realize that family, friends, and the time granted to us on this earth, are celestial gifts. We owe it to ourselves, our families and our spirits to not take these gifts for granted, but instead, to embrace them with open hearts and gratitude.
The lotus flower is an ancient symbol of achievement and enlightenment. The flower continuously produces seeds that germinate and give rise to new and productive lotus plants, which then produce their own magnificent flowers. To me, this represents the continual and expansive growth of the Arbonne opportunity. In my eyes, each one of the Managers and Consultants on my team is an emerging golden lotus leader.
I thank all of you, as well as my family, lifelong friends and Arbonne leaders, who have inspired and joined me on this wonderful journey called life. Each one of you has blessed me with different life lessons that have helped me achieve this awesome accomplishment.
