Choose to succeed in whatever you do or whatever you become in your life. As a former dance instructor and choreographer, I had inspired students to believe in themselves and find their own true path to success. When I decided to launch my home-based business with Arbonne, I made the choice to put my goal-oriented nature to work. Within 18 months, I had promoted to NVP. Like many of you, I was still working a 55-hour-a-week full-time job, when I added Arbonne to my schedule. Was it easy? Absolutely not. Did I have ups and downs? Most definitely. But I treated it like a dance routine. I followed the golden rule: Practice, practice and practice some more. The more you do, the better you get. I have always coached with a lot of positive self-talk, so it was natural for me to implement a self-affirming motto into my Arbonne business: Go the extra mile because it is never crowded. Train out of your comfort zone.
Life is all about choices. Arbonne made a choice to bring pure, safe, beneficial products to the skin care market. Arbonne also chose to offer a life-changing opportunity with an amazing compensation plan to anyone interested. The Arbonne package was designed to benefit people in several ways. The first way is with incredible products developed to help consumers lead healthier and happier lives. It is important that when you start your Arbonne business that you become a product of the product. The second is with people. You must like and want to help and be willing to teach people. The third way is in the power of network marketing. This was an industry that I did not fully understand until after I did extensive research. I also discussed it with others to get their take on it. But it was not until a great friend of mine “got it,” that I was fortunate enough to share in her “light-bulb moment.” NVP-in-qualification Connie Howard came up with a system for success called “The Sky is the Limit.” This is a system where we teach business not lipstick. Everyone knows about the integrity and quality of the Arbonne products. Now we can teach them a simple plan for success with the Arbonne opportunity. I will say this, Arbonne is simple but not always easy. I love this basic concept because it gives everyone an equal opportunity to achieve as long as they are willing to put in the required effort. If the business was easy, it would not require any work at all and it would not be rewarding.
We all have a choice on what we do with the Arbonne opportunity once it is presented to us. There is a way for everyone to succeed. We have a system that is open to help increase the awareness of the interrelationship between a healthy natural environment and healthy people. Arbonne has the tools for duplication. Do not try to reinvent the wheel, just duplicate what has already been done to succeed and you will find yourself at the top.
This opportunity brings people from all walks of life and from every imaginable background together with the sole purpose of enhancing our understanding, communication and collaboration in promoting health and well-being. That is the essence of an Arbonne business. Because it is a business of inclusion rather than exclusion, there are endless pockets of support that you can turn to. I like to believe that although we are in business for ourselves, we are not in business by ourselves. Everyone has a sponsor and upline who is there to help. There are educational workshops, a variety of Web sites, Arbonne University and Arbonne Learn and Burn™ CDs to rely on. This is another choice that we have in succeeding with our business. As the old saying goes, “Knowledge is Power.” The information is out there and it is one’s choice to put that to good use.
A major key to success is consistent action. I am inspired by the expression, “Your actions are so loud that I cannot hear what you are saying.” On our team, we like to remind each other, you can work Arbonne part time but you cannot work it some of the time. If you focus on action rather than activity, then you will quickly build your business. The other key to succeed in your business is to help others to succeed with the Arbonne opportunity. Now, I share with people that anyone can do Arbonne fast or slow, but it will take the same amount of energy. So, if the time is right, why labor for so long? Find four and help those find four and there you go. If you can have a better life today, why wait until tomorrow to get started? Getting to the top at Arbonne is not a race, but people are succeeding with this opportunity right now. So why not you? Develop your Why and run with it. Before you know it, you will have everything you ever hoped for.
I love the fact that our team is sharing healthy products that people and their families use each and every day. I also take pride in the fact that my own family is living each day healthier than before. I hate to brag, but I do Arbonne. Thank you, Arbonne!
