SUCCESS STRATEGY:

“In order to cross the finish line, you must believe enough to take that first step — only then will you be making a difference, one stride at a time!”

Have you ever felt like you were competing daily, constantly fighting to stay in the race of life, running late to work or the meeting about to start? Arbonne is the shortcut to winning your race … the race of your life! It is so special to watch these races because they focus on the journey toward achieving individual dreams and goals that we never, again, thought could be possible. I feel this builds our character, changes our lives and helps us become who we are meant to be. Arbonne, to me, is simply about that — becoming. I love that with Arbonne, if you help others achieve what they want, you will ultimately get what you want as well, whether it is the potential for financial or time freedom. The gift is in helping others down a path toward their finish line.

My rat race began six years ago, shortly after I moved from Oklahoma to California. Ironically, I met my husband, Chris, while running track in college at a time when winning competitions was our sole focus. Shortly after graduating, we began our lives in Southern California. I was a teacher for five years and my husband built a successful, family-owned business. I was often at school for long hours while my husband worked 50 to 60 hour weeks. Does this race sound familiar, yet? We began to lose sight of our hopes and dreams due to daily setbacks and injuries in our own personal race.

I truly believe the scheduled time for your race to start with Arbonne is everything. Only 18 months ago, in January 2004, my lifelong best friend, ERVP Heather Jaques, called and filled me in on what would later become the opportunity that would soon let my 32 year-old husband retire. I was excited. I had no idea what the company did, how to pronounce the name or what I had to do, yet I was ready to run. You see, Heather had always made wise business decisions about her life and quite frankly, I was shocked she wanted me to be a teammate on her relay. So, with my new racing schedule set, my husband was the first person who needed to be convinced. I ran downstairs and told him. His response was, “You are going to sell what instead of teach?” So, my competitive nature kicked in again and I was ready to prove him wrong and start the race that would soon change both of our lives. And now, my husband is inserting his “track spikes” into his mouth!

Before competitions, my collegiate track team used to gather together to watch a movie inspired by a famous coach, who was also the co-founder of the athletic shoes most of us wear today and an unknown athlete from Coos Bay, Oregon. Back in the 1970’s, this runner was winning many competitions as a world-class miler. This young runner wanted to experience the same glory as the other runners who started to break the four-minute mile barrier. Not long before, running a sub four-minute mile was considered impossible, however, with a little bit of effort, a new race always begins. Even though this coach knew the three-mile race was not yet a “glory race,” it was the perfect fit for this particular athlete. You see, some of our greatest races in life are not always a track we plan on taking, but one that shapes our future. This athlete went on to make a name for the three-mile, compete in the Olympics and become a track legend still recognized today.

Arbonne is a race everyone can excel at, whether you choose to run on the fast or slow track, it will change lives. I am so humbled to help others find hope, faith, leadership and belief in themselves. I have competed in many competitions where there is always a winner and a loser. With Arbonne as your race of choice, you have total control over your outcome. There are no background requirements or pre-qualifications to participate in this amazing race. Everyone is a winner with the products, benefits and pay, but mostly, they are winners because of the opportunity to share this with others.

Every day, I wake up and am thankful for the opportunity to offer such a gift to help others realize their potential in the race of life. I owe my success to my dear sponsor, ERVP Heather Jaques, for always believing in me — even when I had little belief in myself. The true trophy with Arbonne are the many blessings awaiting us at the finish line.

Each individual in the Believe, Inc. Nation has helped to shape us into what we all aspire to be — strong, courageous, inspiring, loving and hopeful individuals, sharing well-being, the potential for income and awareness of this fantastic gift of Arbonne. These gifts are made possible so we may all work together to continue to help others achieve their greatness.

To my Why, my beloved husband, Chris: Without you, I am nothing. Thank you for always trusting, believing and loving me unconditionally. You have been there for all of my Arbonne laughs, smiles, cries and momentary breakdowns throughout this incredible race. We both know the best is yet to come as we continue to help countless others change their lives as well. I love you more than I could ever express in words.

To my “lifelong diva’s” and my “bestest” friends, my sponsor, ERVP Heather Jaques and AM Jaime Eakle: You two are the ones who have helped me “stretch my dreams” to become who I was always supposed to become. I owe my life to you both and love you both dearly. “Is this beyond our wildest sixth grade sleepover dreams or what, girls?” I love you and mean it, always.

To my first RVP, my dearest sister-in-law, Annette Warburton and brother-in-law, AM Andrew Warburton: Your heart of 24 karat gold and dedication to others amazes me daily. You are a true blessing to all of us. I cannot wait for your amazing team to go Nation. I love you both very much.

To new RVPs, Renee Scott, Kristin Salas and Michelle Rizzo: Your grace is so inspiring to all of us. Thank you girls for your beautiful example of always giving from the bottom of your huge hearts. I cannot wait for your Nation celebrations! Love ya lots.

To all of my RVPs-in-qualification and AMs, Jaime Eakle, Tiffany Kolb, Lisa Stickley, Tina Olsen, Amy McMahon, Monica Saffell, Kristen Gabel, Petra Cornelius, Michelle and Bob Schaffer, Kathie McGetrick, Deborah Streeter, Diana Kliest, Kimmie Pollack, Kristie Barry, Rachel Clayton and Wendy Munoz: Continue to help others believe in the power of Arbonne. Always remember, the journey to significance happens while helping others realize their successes. I love you all and cannot wait for your car presentations!

To all of my DMs: You all are simply amazing with the energy, boldness and faith you all exemplify daily. Continue on in your journey. Always help others get what they want and you will achieve greatness. I love you all and will see ya at the top.

To my mom, dad and brothers, Blake and Adam: Thank you for all of your love and support throughout my journey of life. You guys are my eternal cheerleaders and I am forever grateful to each of you! I love you all more than words.

To Thane, Kristie and their baby Avery Tomlinson: Chris and I are honored to play a small part in your family achieving all of your aspirations and dreams beyond your wildest imaginations. We are excited for our future together. Did you ever think we would have been blessed to grow together from 7th Street in Edmond, Oklahoma, to this? Remember, we are friends by fate, but family by choice! We love ya’ll.

To ERVP Heather Jaques and ENVP Misty Whitfield: Thank you for blazing such an amazing trail for the rest of us to follow. You girls are so inspiring to all of us. I thank you for always helping me out when I needed it most. Oklahoma girls rock!

To all of the new Consultants in the Believe, Inc. Nation: Get ready for the ride of your lives. All you have to do is believe it and you can achieve it.

Thank you to all of our Consultants who purchase product at a discount price, Clients, friends and family: Your continuous love and support means the world to all of us.

To all of the Home Office staff, Founder Petter Mørck, Executive Vice President Stian Mørck, Sr. VP Product Development & Field Events, Candace Keefe, President Rita Davenport and Chairman and CEO Bob Henry: A million thanks for the opportunity to wake up each day and share such an extraordinary blessing with others.

Above all, I would like to thank God for all of the miracles He creates for us to believe enough to achieve.

To everyone: A lot of times when I was competing, I would base my outcomes on circumstances. We all have things that shape our outcomes with life. Some of us may have lots of bad weather, while others tend to run in the sunshine. Through my experiences, I have realized this race is all about your attitude. You have the power to accomplish anything you set your mind to do. In order to compete, you must first prepare. We are so blessed to have all of the workouts already written up to follow. All you have to do is train yourself to think positively, mentally stretch to help yourself and others become successful, start with a plan of action and follow it, and finish when you have touched many lives. So what are you waiting for … start your race!
