Then maybe the Arbonne opportunity could be for you. Now if you’re like me, you might be thinking there is no way you would ever do something like this. That was exactly my mindset when I was first introduced to Arbonne. I had never heard of the company before, I have no sales experience, I had recently moved from England to the United States where I knew not a soul, and I was insanely busy raising my three young boys. Yet, there was something about the opportunity that intrigued me and an inner voice saying “keep an open mind.”
I was introduced to Arbonne at a product presentation, where I learned about the pure, plant-powered, clinically proven beauty and wellness products that the company offers. I quickly fell in love with the products and became an avid user. After deciding to host a product presentation of my own, I immediately panicked because I didn’t know anyone in my community or even in the entire country. Luckily, I found a neighbor to come and we enjoyed a lovely evening of relaxing and learning. What piqued my interest that night was when the consultant shared the simplicity of the business – by consistently doing just a couple of product experiences each week giving others the opportunity to learn about the Arbonne difference and to try the products, I could reach the third of only four management levels, Regional Vice President within the first 12-24 months. At that point, I would be earning over double my previous f/t income per month and be awarded the company car, which is any white Mercedes Benz of my choosing.
I thought, WOW! I would love to work 10 hours/week from home and earn that kind of income. As a prior Social Services employee, I found that as much as I loved my work, the demanding schedule did not allow me time with my family nor did it provide the income that would allow us to live comfortably. The idea of having the flexibility to work a business around my life rather than work my life around my career was extremely enticing. Even so, I questioned if I could actually do something like this – I still did not know anyone in the US and I certainly had no experience doing something like this.
After doing thorough research, learning more about the Arbonne business model, and meeting with several leaders who had the same hesitations that I had in the beginning, I realized I had nothing to lose. Start-up costs are minimal ($79), we are not required to keep stock, there are no infrastructure costs for bricks and mortar, research, marketing, etcetera, and I had the guidance of proven leaders, who would help me achieve success. I decided to jump in and give it a go. My journey has been amazing. I love the financial freedom and time freedom that this business affords me, plus I have met so many wonderful people. I love teaching others how to use this business to fulfill their dreams and to build a life by design.
