Arbonne is committed to upholding the principles in the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010.
As part of its commitment, Arbonne’s suppliers are expected to abide by all applicable governmental laws, rules, regulations and requirements applicable to each supplier. Arbonne expects its suppliers to comply with all applicable wage and hour laws, rules and regulations, including minimum wage, overtime and maximum hours and those dealing with harassment, discrimination or other forms of abuse. Arbonne suppliers must commit to equal employment opportunities for all persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Suppliers who knowingly violate laws or have repeated difficulties abiding by them will not receive Arbonne business.
Arbonne uses fair employment practices and expects suppliers to do so, too. Arbonne will not do business with suppliers employing child, prison, indentured or bonded labor, or using corporal punishment or other forms of mental and physical coercion as a form of discipline. Arbonne is committed to safety in developing, manufacturing and distributing its products without creating unacceptable risks to the health or safety of the public, its employees or the environment. Suppliers providing services to Arbonne must satisfy all applicable regulatory and safety standards. Each supplier is required to have safe work conditions to minimize accidents, injury and exposure to health risks to supplier employees.
To meet its objectives, Arbonne monitors and evaluates the performance of its suppliers. Prospective suppliers must be approved through Arbonne’s supplier Qualification program. The qualification program may include an initial capability assessment, a self-evaluation survey, customer references, and a formal audit. Once approved, suppliers will continue to be evaluated by certificate of analysis and sample review, complaint data and a risk analysis audit program based on a number of established criteria. Arbonne continues to engage and train its employees to understand its policies regarding its supply chain. Third parties may be utilized as needed.
